The Jackson Dinky originated in the early days of USA-made Jacksons as a slightly scaled-down version of the Strat. It features a double-cutaway body and Strat-style headstock. The Dinky was named for its 7/8 size body. In the 1990s, Jackson began producing less expensive, Asian-made Dinkys.
